Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing or using the Mock Quiz Expert platform operated by Clarity Financial Training Ltd.

By purchasing a mock assessment, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

“Clarity Financial Training Ltd”, “Clarity FT”, “we”, “our” or “us” means Clarity Financial Training Ltd.

“You”, “your”, “student”, “customer” or “user” means the individual purchasing or using the Mock Quiz Expert platform.

“Mock Quiz Expert” means the online assessment platform owned and operated by Clarity Financial Training Ltd.

“Services” means the digital mock assessments, case studies, question banks, explanations and other online learning resources supplied through Mock Quiz Expert.

2. About Mock Quiz Expert

Clarity Financial Training Ltd provides professional financial services training and examination preparation resources.

Mock Quiz Expert has been developed to help students prepare for professional examinations by testing their knowledge, practising exam-style questions and identifying areas where further revision may be required.

Clarity FT creates and provides its own mock questions and assessment materials.

While every reasonable effort is made to ensure the quality and accuracy of our content, Mock Quiz Expert is a revision and assessment resource. Completion of our mock assessments or achieving a particular score does not guarantee success in an official examination.

3. Website and Service Information

We take reasonable care to ensure that information published on our website and within Mock Quiz Expert is accurate and up to date.

From time to time, errors or omissions may occur. We reserve the right to correct, update or amend assessment content, explanations, question banks or other website material where necessary.

We may also update our content to reflect syllabus, taxation, regulatory or other relevant changes.

Updates to the platform will not materially reduce the service already purchased.

Any learning tools or calculators available through our websites are provided for educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as personal financial, investment, legal or taxation advice.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. These are provided for convenience only and Clarity Financial Training Ltd is not responsible for the content, availability or practices of independent third-party websites.

4. Availability of Mock Quiz Expert

We use reasonable endeavours to keep Mock Quiz Expert available and operating correctly.

However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Access may occasionally be interrupted or temporarily suspended for maintenance, updates, security, technical problems or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where a technical problem attributable to Clarity FT prevents you from accessing a purchased assessment for a significant part of your access period, please contact us so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, restore or extend access.

5. Student Responsibilities

When using Mock Quiz Expert, you agree to:

• use the platform solely for your own genuine personal study;
• keep your login details secure and confidential;
• not share your account or allow another person to use it;
• ensure that your device, browser, software and internet connection are suitable for using the platform;
• review your answers before progressing where the system does not allow completed questions or assessments to be revisited; and
• use the platform normally and not attempt to copy, extract, harvest, monitor or otherwise obtain assessment content.

You are responsible for ensuring that your equipment and internet connection are suitable for accessing Mock Quiz Expert.

Clarity Financial Training Ltd cannot accept responsibility for problems caused by your own equipment, software, browser, internet connection or other technology outside our control.

6. Payment and Access

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at the time of purchase.

Access to a purchased mock assessment is provided following successful payment.

Prices and promotional offers may be changed or withdrawn at any time before a purchase is completed. Any change will not affect a purchase that has already been completed.

By purchasing a mock assessment, you confirm that you accept these Terms and Conditions.

7. Digital Content, Cancellation and Refunds

Mock Quiz Expert assessments are digital content supplied with immediate online access.

By completing your purchase, you expressly request that access to the digital content begins immediately.

Where applicable, you also acknowledge that by requesting immediate supply of the digital content, you will lose your statutory right to cancel once supply of the digital content has begun.

Once access has been provided, Mock Quiz Expert purchases are non-refundable, except where the digital content is faulty, not as described or a refund or other remedy is otherwise required by applicable consumer law.

Failure to use a purchased assessment during the access period does not entitle you to a refund, credit or replacement access.

Clarity Financial Training Ltd may, at its discretion, consider a refund, credit or extension in exceptional circumstances. Any decision to do so is discretionary and does not create an entitlement or precedent for future purchases.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

8. Access Period and Attempts

Each purchased mock assessment provides unlimited attempts for 7 consecutive days from the date and time access is provided.

During this period, you may complete the purchased assessment as many times as you wish, subject to these Terms and Conditions and the normal operation of the platform.

Once the 7-day period expires, access automatically ends.

Further access requires a new purchase unless Clarity FT has expressly agreed otherwise.

Distance Learning Students

Where access to Mock Quiz Expert is included as part of a Clarity FT distance learning course, the access period will match the applicable distance learning package:

• Individual distance learning modules include 3 months’ access.
• Eligible packaged distance learning courses include 12 months’ access.

The access period begins from the date the relevant distance learning resources are made available.

Failure to access or use the assessment during the applicable access period does not automatically extend the access period or create an entitlement to a refund or credit.

If you leave an assessment before completing it, your progress may not be retained and the platform may progress you to the next available unit or attempt. You should therefore complete an assessment in accordance with the instructions displayed on the platform.

9. Question Randomisation

Mock Quiz Expert contains an extensive and continually developing bank of multiple-choice questions and case studies.

Where randomisation is used, questions are selected from the relevant question bank automatically.

As a result, repeated attempts may include questions you have previously seen. Purchasing or attempting an assessment more than once does not guarantee that every question presented will be different.

This is a normal feature of the platform and does not constitute a fault or defect.

Case Study Assessments

Where a case study assessment is not randomised, repeating or repurchasing that assessment may result in the same case study and questions being presented again.

10. Intellectual Property and Copyright

All intellectual property rights relating to Mock Quiz Expert and its content remain the property of Clarity Financial Training Ltd and are protected under UK copyright law, including the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.

Clarity FT creates and provides its own mock questions and assessment materials.

All questions, answers, explanations, case studies, graphics, layouts, branding, software, online resources and other materials available through Mock Quiz Expert are provided solely for the personal use of the individual student who purchased access.

Your purchase gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access the purchased assessment during the applicable access period.

You must not, without our prior written permission:

• copy, reproduce or distribute any question, answer, explanation, case study or other content;
• photograph, screenshot, screen-record or otherwise capture assessment content;
• share your account or login details;
• allow another person to access or complete assessments using your account;
• sell, licence, rent, publish, distribute or otherwise make our content available to another person or organisation;
• publish or share assessment content on websites, forums, social media, messaging services or other platforms;
• provide or make our content available to another training provider;
• upload questions, answers, explanations or other Clarity FT materials to an artificial intelligence platform or automated system;
• use our content to train, test, develop or improve an artificial intelligence model, system or dataset;
• use automated software, bots, browser extensions, scraping tools or similar technology to extract, record or reproduce content; or
• use our content to create, develop or contribute to competing assessments, question banks, courses or training materials.

Any unauthorised copying, reproduction, extraction, sharing, redistribution or commercial use of our materials may constitute an infringement of our intellectual property rights.

11. Monitoring and Protection of Our Content

To protect Mock Quiz Expert, our users and our intellectual property, we may monitor reasonable account, usage and technical information associated with use of the platform.

This may include login activity, IP information, usage patterns, assessment activity and other information reasonably necessary to identify suspected:

• account sharing;
• unauthorised access;
• automated access;
• copying or extraction of assessment content;
• unusual or excessive activity inconsistent with genuine personal study; or
• other misuse of the platform.

Any monitoring of personal information will be carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.

12. Suspension or Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate access to Mock Quiz Expert where we reasonably believe that a user has:

• breached these Terms and Conditions;
• shared their account with another person;
• infringed or attempted to infringe our intellectual property rights;
• copied, extracted or distributed our content;
• attempted to gain unauthorised access to the platform;
• used automated systems to access or extract content;
• compromised or attempted to compromise the security or integrity of the platform; or
• engaged in activity that reasonably indicates misuse rather than genuine personal study.

Where access is suspended while we investigate suspected misuse, we may request information reasonably necessary to investigate the activity.

Where we reasonably determine that a material breach has occurred, access may be permanently terminated.

Where access is terminated because of the user’s breach of these Terms and Conditions, no refund will be provided except where required by law.

Suspension or termination does not affect any other legal rights or remedies available to Clarity Financial Training Ltd.

13. Accuracy and Examination Content

Mock Quiz Expert is designed as an independent examination preparation and revision resource.

We take reasonable care when preparing our questions and explanations and may update them where examination syllabuses, regulations, taxation rules or other relevant information changes.

However, official awarding bodies may amend their syllabuses, assessment methods, terminology or examination content.

Students remain responsible for ensuring that they are studying the current official syllabus and assessment requirements applicable to their examination.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Mock Quiz Expert questions are not official examination questions and should not be represented as such.

14. Limitation of Liability

While every reasonable effort is made to maintain the accuracy, security and availability of Mock Quiz Expert, we cannot guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted or completely free from technical errors.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clarity Financial Training Ltd will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, Mock Quiz Expert.

We are not responsible for examination results, employment outcomes or decisions made on the basis of a user’s performance in our mock assessments.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so or affects any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly.

Personal information is processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection law and our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and your data protection rights.

16. Complaints

We aim to provide high-quality products and customer service.

If you are dissatisfied with Mock Quiz Expert, please contact us so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter.

17. Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to Mock Quiz Expert, our services, technology or applicable legal requirements.

The latest version will be published on our website.

Changes will apply to future purchases from the date the updated Terms and Conditions take effect and will not retrospectively remove rights relating to an existing purchase.

18. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute relating to these Terms and Conditions or use of Mock Quiz Expert will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any consumer rights regarding jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be excluded.
